Since her early childhood, Alexandra Burke knew that she wanted to devote her life to music. During her school years, she could not fulfill herself in this direction. On finishing the show, popularity of Alexandra Burke skyrocketed. She received a lot of invitations to perform at concerts and in shows, she appeared on the journals’ covers, people talked about her, and different British mass media wrote about her. Her records were sold out and music experts wondered whether a new star would shine without the triumphal victory in the super popular music TV show.
In February, 2009, Alexandra Burke signed a contract with the label Epic Records for the release of five albums. The first of them, titled Overcome, was released in October, 2009, and in no time it topped the British chart. The album’s first single “Bad Boy” rose to the top on the British chart of singles. The rapper 50 Cent offered her to star in one of his videoclips. Some British singers showed their willingness to organize joint concerts with the uprising pop-star.
In 2011, Alexandra Burke announced an oncoming release of the second album, which would be more unreserved and fresh in comparison with the previous one. The new album is being prepared for the release under RCA Records producer supervision and promises to please numerous fans of the young talented singer’s works.
