Justin Timberlake
Justin Timberlake is one of the most outstanding personalities of the modern show business world. The artist is talented in many areas – currently, he is a mega-popular singer, has his own filmography, participates in various advertising projects, and tries himself in a design field.
He started his way to the world popularity being a teenager and starring in the popular American TV-program The Mickey Mouse Club. Lou Pearlman, who was searching singers for a new boysband, found him there. Timberlake became one of the members of a popular pop-group 'N Sync. The first single «Back» was released in 1996 and made the group popular in Europe as well as in USA. In total the boys released four albums.
Justin presented an album Celebrity not only as a singer but as an author of several songs. Being a lead singer of the band and a successful songwriter, he decided to launch a solo career. Upon the release of his debut album Justified in the end of 2001 a new period of the artist’s striking career started. The most popular song of the album was «Cry Me a River». Namely this single brought Timberlake the status of a new music star. The album was recognized by critics and earned Timberlake two Grammy Awards.
In 2004, after a provocative incident during performance with Janet Jackson, Justin put his solo career on hold. But Timberlake found his way in other creative works also. He acted in several films, such as Adison (2005), Alpha Dog (2006), and voiced Prince Artie Pendragon in the popular American animated film Shrek the Third (2007). Also, he participated in music projects along with such world stars as Black Eyed Peas: a song «Where is the love» earned two Grammy Awards in 2004. Timberlake recorded a song «Signs» (2005) with Snoop Dogg, had duets with Britney Spears, Nelly Furtado, 50 Cent, Nelly, and Madonna (a track «4 Minutes»).
In 2006, Timberlake released his second album titled FutureSex/LoveSounds. He created this album in cooperation with such notable personalities in music producing as Timbaland and Snoop Dogg, Three 6 Mafia, T.I. and Will.i.am. were invited for recording the tracks. The most popular singles of this album were «SexyBack», «My Love», and «What Goes Around… Comes Around» (all three songs topped Hot 100 Billboard). Namely in 2006, Timberlake stated that he was not going to stop his music career for acting in films. He keeps on collaborating with many world famous music artists.
