One of the stars of the abundant British pop scene is the prominent singer Natasha Bedingfield. In 2005 this album only slightly reworked was released in the U.S., instantly certifying gold.
Audience received the artist’s second album called «N.B. / Pocketful of Sunshine» released in 2007 with less cheers than they did her previous one. However it didn’t prevent it from getting to the 9th spot of the British charts and 3rd spot in the USA. It resulted in two "gold" statuses and significant expansion of the number of fans overseas.
But despite the relatively successful start, Natasha Bedingfield is still listed in the "newbies" of the pop scene. Critics point out that the singer lacks identity and originality - something in that vein that would allow her to distinctively stand out among the numerous competitors. Artist’s singles are often tagged as outstanding and entertaining, but overall, the rising star is still seeking her own unique style and ability to fully express herself through the songs and music. In addition, she tried to start a career as an actress, but plans still remain plans, as the girl simple doesn’t have enough time for everything. Nevertheless, here’s hoping that after the «Strip Me / Strip Me Away» release in 2010, which sales were quite modest, Natasha did not loose heart and will continue making music in search of her unique "zest".
