T-Pain
Many music experts consider an American performer Faheem Najm, performing under stage name T-Pain, as almost a unique phenomenon in the world of music. As well as many stars of modern pop scene, he has been interested in music since childhood, and, using his home studio, accumulated experience for entrance the world.
And it happened quite soon. Having worked for private during several years, T-Pain began gradually to build up as a stylish hip-hop artist and, after all, he drew attention of Acon whose label signed a contract with a talented child. He recorded his first studio single under title «I'm Sprung» that was released in 2005 and it reached number eight on the charts that was rather good as for a beginner. The following work of T-Pain reached number three and his debut album entitled «Rappa Ternt Sanga», released in the same 2005, sold quite well and was certified gold.
Ascent of T-Pain was quick as lightning, and, having celebrated his first success, he began to receive attractive offers from popular rappers as well as hip-hop and R&B performers who were interested in collaboration with T-Pain. It was owing to the composition «Buy You A Drank» that conquered many charts and became, according to experts, the best song of the year.
In 2007 the young rapper began working on his second album and soon «Epiphany» won the general audience of T-Pain fans, being a financial success and, after all, was certified platinum. According to the artist himself, his life and world-view changed greatly for a couple of years after the release of his first disc, and, of course, it had an effect on the musician's works. A more mature, thorough and completed album, that was created in collaboration with many stars, was fated to success from the beginning.
On the whole, the year 2007 was very successful for the musician's career. He not only released one of his most popular albums but also met many world stars, shot a video to his song «Buy U a Drank» and strove for conquest of new summits by all possible ways and reached them successfully.
A year of 2008 started for T-Pain from the world tour together with such stars as Chris Brown and Bow Wow, huge profits and performances in the most prestigious music clubs. He earned Grammy Award for the best album and best R&B project. The same year he recorded and released the third album – «Thr33 Ringz» that was not less popular than its predecessor.
A year of 2011 is planned for the release of the fourth studio album that has been prepared by T-Pain during his active collaboration with world stars and participation in joint projects and performances. His numerous fans are looking forward to new works from their favourite artist whose uniqueness is that he not only reached the level of famous Akon but in some way got ahead, representing his talent and persistence.
