Katy Perry
According to FHM magazine, Katy Perry is second in the list of the most sexual women of the world. And that is not the only achievement of the young native of Santa Barbara. Being a little girl, Katy sang in a choir, took singing and dancing lessons. At the age of 16, in a year after finishing school, Katy left for Los Angeles to start her way to the star career. In 2004, Katy released her first album of gospel music titled Katy Hudson in collaboration with Red Hill Records. Collaboration with Red Hill Records was very short and she joined the group The Matrix in 2004.
After recording of one album with the group, Katy launched her solo career. The first single, which made people know the talented girl, was «Ur So Gay» released in 2007. But the real furor was made by a song «I Kissed A Girl». In no time the song became a hit and topped Billboard Hot 100. The third single was «Hot N Cold». Though, this single did not top charts but was third on Billboard Hot 100. Aside popularity, this song earned Katy a Grammy nomination. In 2008, she released an album One of the Boys, which became platinum in 2009 in USA. In 2009, Katy did her first tour titled Hello Katy Tour. The same year Katy created two singles – «Starstrukk» (featuring the group 3OH!3) and «If We Ever Meet Again» with Timbaland.
Katy’s second album was titled Teenage Dream and released in 2010. The first single of this album was California Gurls«» featuring the rapper Snoop Dogg. The song became mega-popular and topped hit-parades in dozens of countries. Also, this track was nominated for Grammy. Later, Katy released singles «Teenage Dream», «Firework» and «E.T.» (featuring Kanye West). Interestingly, this song was played without Kanye in the album. But after having arraignment on similarity to t.A.T.u.’s song «All the things she said», they decided to release a new version of the track already featuring Kanye West. The release of the next single of the album «Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)» is slated for June 2011. Also, Katy organized California Dreams Tour in support of this album.
