Alecia Moore, aka Pink / P!NK, grew up in music.
By the age 13, she was a regular on the Philadelphia club scene, first as a dancer, then as a backing vocalist for the local hip-hop group Schools of Thought.
After being spotted performing at a Philadelphia club, she was signed by MCA Records to complete the line-up of vocal group Basic Instinct. After a short spell with the trio, Moore moved on to another R&B outfit; Choice, who were signed by LaFace Records.
Her debut album, «Can't Take Me Home», was released in April 2000, and hit the US charts with songs «There You Go», and «Most Girls».
Her albums include Pink Box, Pink: Live from Wembley Arena, Pink: Live in Europe and Funhouse. She is married to Carey Hart. She has worked as a singer-songwriter, an actor, a musician, a dance, a record producer, an opera singer and a dancer, and her current occupation is record producer.
